President Donald Trump is pausing all aid to Ukraine, including military aid and weapons that are already on their way, or are in Poland, until Volodymyr Zelenskyy shows a commitment to peace.

The pause in aid comes directly after Zelenskyy said that he sees the war going on for a ‘very, very long time.’

It also follows a showdown in the Oval Office between Zelenskyy, President Trump and Vice President JD Vance over how to end the three-year war.

A senior Trump administration official said that aid will remain on hold until President Trump sees a commitment to peace and good faith negotiations.

The Kremlin says the pause of U.S. military aid to Ukraine is the best hope for peace.
