Leftists Criticize Trump’s Visit to Troops in Iraq

Several of those on the left are criticizing President Trump’s visit to the American troops in Iraq.

Townhall reports vocal Trump critic and CNN White House Correspondent Jim Acosta, filling in for Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday, claimed Trump violated ethics and campaign laws during his trip to Iraq to visit American troops.

Acosta alleged that the president was treating the visit like a campaign stop by signing MAGA hats and flags for some of the troops.  

A former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq also criticized Trump for not meeting with the Iraqi Prime Minister while he was there – claiming Trump’s surprise visit to the nation was a violation of their sovereignty.
