CNN’s Erin Burnett on Monday didn’t quite know how to react when their own reporting from the U.S.-Mexico border revealed a number of Latinos who support President Trump and a border wall.

Breitbart reports CNN’s Miguel Marquez, reporting from the border noted that 34% of Latinos approved of Trump in a recent CNN poll.

He said that though a majority of Latinos disapprove of Trump, there are plenty who live along the U.S.-Mexico border who support Trump, believing that there is a “national emergency” at the border.

Marquez spoke to one Latino border resident who said he wants to see a “longer and taller” border wall.

Another said she’s in the process of getting her U.S. citizenship so she can vote for Trump. She said she supports Trump because of abortion, the economy, and immigration.
