Chicago Police Union Calls for Investigation of State’s Attorney After Dropping Smollett Charges

The Chicago police union is calling for an investigation of the prosecutor who exchanged emails with a former chief of staff to Michelle Obama about the Jussie Smollett case. 

The union wants the Department of Justice to investigate State's Attorney Kim Foxx to determine the extent of her involvement with the case.

This, after prosecutors suddenly dropped charges yesterday against Smollett.

Breitbart further reports that left-wing billionaire mega-donor George Soros donated $408,000 in 2016 to a super PAC that supported Foxx, leading to her election.
