Former Vice President and 2020 White House hopeful Joe Biden on Monday said that under his new health care plan, people who like their insurance coverage won’t be forced to give it up.

The Hill reports Biden told an audience at the AARP presidential forum in Iowa the “Medicare for All” option, being pushed by Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, is “risky.”

He even dared to echo the infamous line by former President Obama, who repeatedly said "if you like your health care plan, you can keep it."

PolitiFact called that line the "Lie of the Year" in 2013.

Still, Biden said Monday “If you like your health care plan, your employer-based plan, you can keep it.” Biden is running on protecting ObamaCare.
