This scripture continues our study of The Sermon on the Mount. I chose The Message translation of the text because it makes so much sense as we try to figure out what Jesus is talking about here. He tells us to be perfect - what a hard goal! He tells us
to grow up - that hurts the ego. I believe Jesus wants us to realize that our discipleship is not a burden - it is the freedom to behave as God intends us to behave. It is the opportunity to share the love and forgiveness we have received with so many others.
What a blessing this truly becomes. Please join us as we continue this study today.
Under the leadership of Pastor Yoon, Brent, Anika, and Samuel Chrishon spent 6-months serving the Lord as missionaries in South Korea. During the week, Brent taught English. Friday evenings and Saturdays they taught Bible classes for children and adults. During their time in South Korea, they helped plan and implement two English Bible School programs. At the end of Bible School, four young people accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior and made the decision to be baptized. This four-minute video highlights some of their experiences and encourages viewers to take advantage of the 7 Days of Creation resources used during Bible School.
