Megan Danielle Breathtaking ‘Go Rest High on That Mountain’ Rendition

Megan Danielle’s breathtaking rendition of ‘Go Rest High on That Mountain’ will have you hitting the reshare button with your friends. This song has been covered by hundreds of artists because its words hit our hearts deeply.

“Go rest high on that mountain, Son, your work on earth is done,” the lyrics say — words that carry the weight of goodbye but also the promise of peace. And Megan’s voice? It carries every ounce of that promise.

It’s a song about loss, yes. But it’s also a song about hope, about the quiet courage to let go and the fierce love that lingers on. Megan, who is known for her deeply beautiful songs and sultry voice, sings it with a reverence that feels deeply personal, yet universally tender, as if she’s cradling every broken heart that listens. I think each of us walking this earth carries that kind of pain and understanding. We’ve all lost loved ones and we all long for the kind of peace the song is all about.

If you haven’t seen it yet, stop what you’re doing and press play. As she sings, it’s as if God reaches into us and connects with our hearts, which is where grief and grace meet. In a world that often rushes us past grief, she helps us to pause and slows us down. She invites us to sit in the silence, to breathe in the sacred sorrow, and to find healing in the hum of a voice lifted in truth.

Friends, this is it if you’ve ever needed a song to carry your heart. Take a moment. Listen. Let the music wash over you. Because in this beautiful song, sorrow finds a soft place to settle, wrapped gently in grace — like a warm hand on a weary shoulder—and that kind of comfort is a rare and precious gift.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”  Matthew 11:28

‘Amazing Grace’ on Pan Flute Is Beautiful

This cover of ‘Amazing Grace’ on pan flute is wonderful and almost otherworldly. It is simply elegant and beautiful—a reminder that even lyricless music can still be an act of worship. Watch the clip to hear the wonderful performance.

In the video posted on YouTube, Kazakhstan native David Döring stands in the beautiful Evangelical Church in Bad Nauheim, Germany. The sounds from his flute echo in the light-filled auditorium, which has high ceilings and plenty of space to amplify the beautiful sound. Döring’s unique instrument offers windy, air-filled notes that are long and sweet.

As you listen to the song, you’ll be reminded of its simple and moving lyrics:

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

‘Amazing Grace’ is one of those powerful Christian hymns that moves you no matter where or how you hear it. We are all given God’s unending grace, one of the sweetest gifts we could ever receive. Without it, we are like blind lambs, bound to be ravaged by predators or fall to our deaths if it were not for our kind, grace-filled shepherd and savior who forgives us and leads the way. We don’t deserve this heavenly gift, but God gives it freely nonetheless.

We should never forget God’s remarkable gift of grace and praise him for it. He created us, and even when we sinned against him, he chose to save us with the ultimate act of grace by sending his beloved son, Jesus.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2-corinthians 12:9

His Beautiful Work

The sparkling stars in the sky, the aurora in all its colors, the clouds spread out softly like wool, The birds singing to greet the morning, and the trees praising Him as their leaves whisper— Even to the wildflower, smaller than my pinky nail, God has embroidered beauty. How beautiful are the works of the Lord. No darkness can ever cover His light. The Lord has planted a melody even in my small and humble heart. I praise the Lord who lets me sing of peace and joy in every circumstance. The reason I can sing with this freedom and joy that cannot be understood is because the great God has made me His child. To all who receive Jesus and believe in His name, He has given the right to become children of God. If you open your heart to Jesus and trust in His name, your life will be transformed. I long to share with you this freedom and the joy the world cannot give. How beautiful are the works of the Lord. The Lord has planted a melody even in my small and humble heart. The sparkling stars in the sky, the aurora in all its colors, the clouds spread out softly like wool, The birds singing to greet the morning, and— Even to the wildflower, smaller than my pinky nail, God has embroidered beauty. No darkness can ever cover His light. I praise the Lord who lets me sing of peace and joy in every circumstance. How beautiful are the works of the Lord.

Classic Hymn ‘I Need Thee Every Hour’ Gets Beautiful Cover

The classic hymn ‘I Need Thee Every Hour’ is beautifully covered in a YouTube video by Hymns of Grace. It’s gentle, slow, and sung in a simply beautiful setting. Watch the video to see and hear the wonderful song.

In the video, a woman sings on a stage in a large room. A man plays the piano nearby. Glowing yellow lights shine all around them as the woman sings with graceful intention and strength. Hearing her voice echo in the large acoustic room sounds ethereal and immersive.

‘I Need Thee Every Hour’ is an emotional song that speaks of a vulnerable need for God. It acknowledges that life has many downfalls and temptations and that life is hard to bear without Christ.

The hymn was written by Annie Sherwood Hawks in 1872. Annie wrote of the hymn, “I remember well the morning, many years ago, when in the midst of the daily cares of my home, then in a distant city, I was so filled with the sense of nearness to the Master that, wondering how one could live without Him either in joy or pain, these words ‘I need thee every hour’ were ushered into my mind, the thought at once taking full possession of me.”

That day, she scribbled down the lyrics, and a few months later, they were set to music. At the time, Annie did not completely understand the significance of the words she wrote. She said later that she only truly understood the words’ meaning after she experienced profound loss.

“Now when I hear them sung, as I have sometimes, by hundreds of voices in chorus, I find it difficult to think they were ever, consciously, my own thought or penned by my own hand,” she said.

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalms 27:1

Anne Wilson's 'God Story' Lyric Video Inspires and Uplifts with Every Line

Anne Wilson's "God Story" lyric video inspires and uplifts with every line. The popular country Christian music artist has released the official video for her latest hit, "God Story," and it's sure to leave you feeling encouraged. Watch the short clip to see and listen to Anne Wilson's lyric video for her song, "God Story."

Where would you be without God's love, mercy and grace? That's a thoroughly chilling and disturbing thought because more than likely, if you're being completely honest, the answer is not good. We'd still be living in sin and shame, determined to do things our way, and making a complete and total mess of things.

However, it is only because of God's grace that we are no longer there, living the life we once did. Instead of judgment, He offered forgiveness and washed away our sins, making us a new creation in Christ. He took us from a place of brokenness and despair, giving us hope and a future; changing lives and doing things only He could accomplish.

In her official lyric video for "God Story," Anne Wilson sings about the dramatic difference the Lord has made in her life. She sings about being in a place of extreme hopelessness and at the end of a broken road, but God brought her back. She also mentions how when she looks back at where she was compared to where she is now, she can see God was at work the entire time. And how the only way any of it was possible was because of Him.

"My life is a God story
Gotta tell the world what He's done for me
Miracles on miracles that only He could do
I'm proof that we're all only one prayer from a testimony"

What a beautiful and powerful song about God at work in our lives, and how the lives of the redeemed are God stories.

Genesis 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Stephen McWhirter Soul-Stirring Cover of ‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus’

Stephen McWhirter’s soul-stirring cover of ‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus’ will have you feeling emotional. The talented musician really puts his all into this beautiful hymn. Watch the clip to see how Stephen changes the lyrics to reflect his dedication to God.

In Stephen’s powerful new video, the musician sits with his guitar in his hands. He sings with his eyes shut, all of his focus on his praise. His voice sounds so wonderful and melodic with the song’s lyrics. Stephen changed some of the words to address God and not just sing about him.

“‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus’ is one of my favorite hymns, but is it ok if I sing to Jesus and not just about him? I'm not against singing about him, but I prefer to sing to Him because he is really present in the moment with me,” Stephen explained. “I pray this song helps you turn your focus to Jesus, till everything else that seems so big starts to get a whole [lot] smaller next to him.”

The classic lyrics go, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus / Look full in His wonderful face / And the things of earth will grow strangely dim / In the light of His glory and grace…” However, Stephen sings, “Turn my eyes to you, Jesus / Look in your wonderful face…” This gives a personal touch to the hymn. It’s a song that he is truly singing to Jesus from his heart. Likewise, when others sing this version of the hymn, it will be a more personal and devoted act of praise to God.

“Having our eyes fixed on Jesus, the guide and end of our faith, who went through the pains of the cross, not caring for the shame, because of the joy which was before him, and who has now taken his place at the right hand of God's seat of power,” Hebrew 12: 2

This Woman’s ‘Amazing Grace’ Will Give You Chills

This woman’s ‘Amazing Grace (Now I See)’ will give you chills and make you want to sing along. Angie Sutherland offers a sweet, laid-back country rhythm in her cover of the old hymn. Watch the clip to see the humble performance.

Singer Angie Sutherland absolutely stuns with her latest cover of ‘Amazing Grace (Now I See).’ In the square-framed video, the woman, “a small town gal from West Virginia,” who looks to be in her 50s, starts her humble set-up by pressing play on a TV remote from her seat in a large chair. A twangy version of ‘Amazing Grace (Now I See)’ starts to play from a nearby TV, with harmonica notes, cymbals, and piano. Her small dog adorably trots in and out of the frame as Angie sings.

Angie belts out beautiful notes in a country style that is wholesome and utterly ear-pleasing. She is completely in tune with the music, eliminating all distractions and focusing on her lyrics. With the prevalence of modern worship songs, it’s hard to find Gospel music that sounds as soulful as this and that’s sung so well.

Some of the lyrics of the hymn she sings are:

And grace my fears relieved
How precious did
That grace appear
The hour I first believed

All of Angie’s music covers are gospel songs that come straight from her heart, each as soulful as the last. She chooses songs that have deep lyrics and a meaningful message, like this one, ‘I Know Who Holds Tomorrow,’ ‘I’d Rather Have Jesus,’ and more.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2-corinthians 12:9
