Christian artist Lauren Daigle says she believes God is at work among younger generations, who she describes as seeking His truth amidst a secular world.

Daigle shared her thoughts prior to the 2025 Dove Awards in Nashville, Tenn., where she was nominated for Artist of the Year alongside Brandon Lake, CeCe Winans, Forrest Frank, Josiah Queen and Phil Wickham. The show will be broadcast Friday at 7:30 and 10 p.m. Eastern on TBN.

Daigle has won 12 Dove Awards during her career, including Artist of the Year twice.

“I think it's very evident that revival is sweeping through these college campuses,” she said, pointing to statistics that show Bible sales on the rise across the general population.

“People want the truth,” Daigle told Crosswalk Headlines. “They want the real truth. They don't want the ‘my truth.’ They want the Jesus truth. People are hungry to know what is real. And there's an aching world out there, and we get to bring them the hope of Jesus.”

“I think we're going to see some amazing times to come.”

Daigle’s remarks came as the Unite Us movement continues to draw headlines, with students on campuses nationwide gathering for nights of worship, prayer and a renewed focus on Jesus. Each gathering draws thousands of students.

Daigle has seen that same passion for Christ at her own events. The night before the Dove Awards, she joined a “Night of Worship” where college students crowded the front of the stage in a powerful display of faith.

“They were just like, jumping and dancing and so thirsty and so hungry for God,” she said.

Daigle’s current single, Let It Be a Hallelujah, reflects that thirst for God, reminding audiences that “every breath” can be a moment of worship. It is No. 17 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart.

“Every moment that we have can be a hallelujah to God, and I need that reminder in my life,” she said. “I am constantly saying, ‘Oh, God, I failed at that. [Or] oh, I shouldn't have thought that way. Or, why did I say that to that person?’ … There's so many moments like that, but this is a song to remember [that] even when you fail, it can be a hallelujah. Even when life is hard and it's falling in on you, you can still allow your praise to rise to the Lord.

Meanwhile, Daigle recounted how a recent time of prayer and fasting rekindled her love for God’s Word.

“I felt this rejuvenation in God's Word that I have needed, honestly, for years,” she told Crosswalk Headlines. “I felt like I was a 15-year-old back in my bedroom again, just me and God talking. It felt like – I don't know – just so simple. And so I would say to my fans, just stay in your Word. Stay encouraged. Stay understanding of how rich His Word is. It is a living Word.

“And I'm very grateful for it. His Word is faithful. His Word remains. But the beauty is that it's a living Word, so it can impact you in different ways all the time.”

Daigle launches her limited Behold Christmas Tour Dec. 4 in Atlanta.
